The Social Sciences Advancement Dialogue Network (SSADN) is pleased to announce that the Call for Abstracts is now open for the Research, Practice & Innovation in Social Sciences 2026 International Online Conference, taking place on 15 September 2026.
The conference has been designed as an international platform for the exchange of ideas, evidence, experiences, and innovations. We recognise that some of the most significant advances in the social sciences occur when researchers, practitioners, educators, policymakers, and students come together to share different perspectives and learn from one another. Our aim is to create a space where academic knowledge and professional practice can engage in constructive dialogue, helping to inform future research, improve services, and contribute to positive social change.
We welcome abstract submissions from academics, researchers, practitioners, postgraduate students, policymakers, and professionals working across all areas of the social sciences. Contributions may be based on original research, professional practice, service evaluations, policy analysis, innovative projects, case studies, or interdisciplinary initiatives.
The conference embraces a broad and inclusive understanding of the social sciences and welcomes submissions relating to areas such as Social Work, Social Care, Education, Psychology, Mental Health, Criminology, Youth Justice, Community Development, Public Policy, Health and Wellbeing, Equality and Inclusion, Research Methodologies, and other related disciplines.
One of the defining features of this conference is its commitment to bringing together both research and practice. While many conferences focus exclusively on academic research, we believe that valuable knowledge is also generated through professional experience, service development, and innovative practice. We therefore encourage submissions from individuals and organisations who are making a difference within their fields and wish to share their learning with an international audience.
The conference will also provide opportunities for networking, interdisciplinary discussion, and the development of future collaborations. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with colleagues from different countries and professional backgrounds, helping to strengthen connections across sectors and disciplines.
As SSADN enters this new phase of development, we hope this conference will become an opportunity for individuals and organisations committed to advancing knowledge, improving practice, and promoting innovation within the social sciences.
We warmly invite you to submit an abstract, share the opportunity with your networks, and join us in shaping an engaging and thought-provoking international event.
