We place significant importance on transparent, collaborative, and ethically informed governance in order to support the integrity, credibility, and long-term development of the network and its activities. SSADNetwork has been designed as an international interdisciplinary initiative that encourages dialogue, research dissemination, professional development, collaboration, and innovation across the broad field of social sciences. Our governance approach aims to support inclusive participation, professional accountability, constructive dialogue, and meaningful international engagement.
The governance structure of SSADNetwork is coordinated by the General Coordinator, who supports the strategic direction, development, and overall coordination of the network and its initiatives. The General Coordinator works alongside the International Scientific & Professional Panel, which brings together academics, researchers, professionals, practitioners, and interdisciplinary contributors from different disciplines, sectors, and professional backgrounds. The panel contributes to the ongoing development of conferences, publications, professional standards, research activities, interdisciplinary dialogue, and other initiatives connected to SSADNetwork.
SSADNetwork values the contribution and participation of its members and collaborators. The network encourages interdisciplinary engagement and aims to create opportunities for individuals and organisations to contribute to the development of research, professional learning, conferences, publications, and international collaboration activities. Our governance approach is guided by principles of:
- transparency and accountability
- ethical and professional conduct
- inclusivity and respect
- interdisciplinary collaboration
- academic and professional integrity
- constructive dialogue and knowledge exchange
We are committed to creating an environment where diverse perspectives, experiences, and disciplinary approaches are welcomed and respected.
Through this governance structure, SSADNetwork aims to support the continued development of an accessible, internationally connected, and interdisciplinary community focused on dialogue, learning, research, innovation, and socially meaningful engagement across social sciences.
